Gov. Scott approves budget, vetoes $410 million

Florida Gov. Rick Scott approved the 2017-18 fiscal year budget Friday, but he did so by turning his veto pen into a veto roller brush.

Scott axed $410 million in legislative products he claims don’t provide a good return on investment for Floridians and completely canceled the bill that would have decreased funding to the state’s tourism marketing arm by more than 60 percent.
