Networks rack up ratings for Comey hearing

An average 18.2 million Americans watched a congressional hearing on television on Thursday morning, tuning in to see former FBI Director James Comey answer questions from the Senate Intelligence Committee, reported TVbytheNumbers.

ABC, a division of The Walt Disney Co. (NYSE: DIS) led total viewership with 3.3 million average viewers, followed by CBS, Fox News, CNN, MSNBC and NBC.
