An oceanfront home in north Palm Beach County formerly owned by the late country music recording artist Tammy Wynette has been listed for sale for $7 million.
Wynette, perhaps best known for her song “Stand by Your Man,” owned the 6,400-square-foot residence in the town of Jupiter Inlet Colony from 1976 to 1981. She died in 2003.
The six-bedroom, six-and-a-half bathroom home, which recently underwent a $500,000 renovation, occupies a half-acre lot at 241 Ocean Drive in Jupiter Inlet Colony.
Interior features include a gourmet kitchen with granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, dual sinks, a large island and over-sized tile flooring. The property also has an in-ground swimming pool with a lounge area.
Keyes, Platinum and Illustrated Properties claim that they control more than 20 percent of the market in north Palm Beach County for homes priced at $1 million or more.
